End-to-end encrypted content
Text messages, photos captured directly inside Konvoro and voice messages are transmitted with end-to-end encryption within the secure connection.
No one outside that connection – including the server operator or administrator – should be able to read the message content.
One identity belongs to one device
A Konvoro identity is assigned to one device. Another device receives a new identity and must establish its connections again.
This is less convenient than automatic multi-device synchronisation, but it keeps the device on which a secure connection exists unambiguous.
No content preview in the overview
The overview indicates that a new message has arrived without already displaying its content or a permanently visible latest message.
Confidential information is therefore not exposed simply by looking at the normal message overview.
Security without absolute promises
No messenger can guarantee absolute security. Konvoro cannot prevent an authorised recipient from photographing a message with another device or recording information outside the app.
Konvoro therefore focuses on limiting what the application itself stores, displays and offers for long-term reuse.

Secure calls between existing contacts
Version 1.0.6 adds secure calling. Incoming calls can reach the iPhone while Konvoro is in the background or the device is locked.
